Today is Power Clean Day! Who is ready to lift?!?

Ever wonder how to master the deadlift? Here’s a step-by-step tutorial:

Approach the Bar: Stand with your mid-foot under the barbell, feet hip-width apart, and toes pointing slightly outward.

Grip the Bar: Bend at the hips and grasp the bar just outside your knees, using an overhand or mixed grip.

Set Your Position: Lower your hips until your shins touch the bar, ensuring your back is flat, chest up, and shoulders slightly in front of the bar.

Lift the Weight: Engage your core, drive through your heels, and extend your hips and knees simultaneously to lift the bar, keeping it close to your body.

Complete the Lift: Stand fully upright with shoulders back and hips locked out, then reverse the movement to return the bar to the floor with control.
