The Traveling Pedicurist

The Traveling Pedicurist The traveling pedicurist is a licensed mobile provider of foot care treatments for seniors & mobility compromised residents living in North Carolina

The Traveling Pedicurist offers Safe & Sanitary Foot Care Services in the Triad/Triangle state of North Carolina. We use disposable pedicure liners that protect our clients against the transfer of micro- organisms, bacteria, nail fungus and other nail diseases. Our services include: Pedicures, Manicures, Foot Soaks & Trims, Foot and Leg Circulation Massages and Hygiene Foot Washes with Callus Reduction Services. Our pedicure liners are thrown away after every use in view of each client. This ensures our customers that we care about their safety and concerns when we service them!

Our tools are thoroughly rinsed, cleaned, disinfected and sanitized. This sanitation and disinfection process is the only means of disease and bacteria prevention that can be verified and guaranteed by the technician, as mandated by The Board of North Carolina Arts and Cosmetics. Our goal is to provide our community and residents with affordable and safe nail care services. Unfortunately, our services are not covered under health insurance; but our prices are within reason for the services and professionalism that we offer. Your Pedicurist is licensed in the state of North Carolina and through The Board of North Carolina Arts and Cosmetics. We will not perform any services that are not within our scope of practice. This includes ingrown toenail removal. This is considered a medical procedure and should only be performed by your podiatrist or primary care physician. If you do not have a physician and need help with selecting a reputable podiatrist- we may be of assistance to you. Your Traveling Pedicurist works with the senior, diabetic and disabled population. This includes people who are blind, in-patient hospital, disabled, home-bound, in hospice or suffer from dementia. If you have a loved one who suffers from Alzheimer's or dementia, you can rest assure they are in good hands with us. Our technicians specialize in senior care and home-bound needs. We take our time to trim your toenails and massage your feet and legs based on your comfort level. You will never feel rushed when we are servicing you. All of our services are scheduled by APPOINTMENT ONLY; this means you are first in line all the time. If you have diabetes or disabled- we welcome you to try our services. We offer preventative nail care services to help with routine nail care. This will help prevent against ingrown toenails, calluses, dead skin bacteria build up, foot odor, long poorly shaped toenails and much more. If you have large calluses or rough skin on the bottom of your feet it is important for you to know that we do not use a blade to remove or soften these problem areas. We use skin softening cuticle and callus solvents and/or sanitizable foot files. We welcome you with smiles, education and expertise. Call today to get started....(919) 621-7027

There are instances (rarely) where onychomycosis can be transferred to the fingernails. Oftentimes, this happens when the person has fungus on the toenails and then uses their fingers to scratch the infected toes.
it's important to note that fungus can be transferred to the fingernails if proper handwashing is not taken into consideration.
The "Wellness PLUS Manicure" involves more detail than your traditional Manicure.

For more information about what's included in the Wellness PLUS Manicure, visit the website at: www.thetravelingpedicurist.com

After speaking with clients over the years who have used our services or "expressed" interest in receiving our services, we have come up with an interim concept that can be rewarding and beneficial to a particular sector of residents in the state of North Carolina.

The Traveling Pedicurist would like to reiterate a few mentionables regarding service bookings. This past week we had incidents where clients booked the incorrect service for their initial appointment. Also, when booking a mobile service it's imperative to state exactly what services are needed to allocate the proper service time.

👉If a client has on gel polish, please let us know during the initial phone call so that time can be factored into the service for removal of the old gel polish

👉If the client is bedridden we need to know in advance

👉If a service is booked in advance and then an upgrade or change is needed "at the time of service" there may be a potential upgrade charge or the service may not be performed depending on time constraints should we have another appointment scheduled.

For immediate questions, please feel free to call directly to: (919) 621-7027 or email: thetravelingpedicurist@gmail.com
