Our body heals during REM sleep, which is why REM sleep is so important to our well being and our energy levels. This type of sleep is important for healing in so many ways, including:

𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵 𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲: REM sleep releases growth hormones that help muscles grow and repair.

• 𝗪𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: The body produces more white blood cells during REM sleep to help fight bacteria and viruses.

If Livestreaming from your home, we highly recommend having a bolster, 2 blocks and a strap. For those attending at Bliss Body Yoga studio, we simply suggest bringing a blanket for added comfort.
