For Our Patients and Their Families:

After 24 years of private practice, Dr. Holmes has decided to leave a final professional legacy through teaching residents and medical students in Mobile at the University of South Alabama. ENT & Audiology Associates has ceased operations as of September 29, 2023. We are grateful for all you and for our staff who comprise the ultimate team imaginable. This transition has been bittersweet, to say the least, and all of us have experienced emotional ups and downs.

Our Story

The ENT & Audiology Associates in Raleigh, North Carolina provide quality medical care and work under the notion that every patient deserves sufficient time and access to the most effective treatments and services. Dr. Douglas Holmes and the skilled group of audiologists serve all ages, and Dr. Holmes has specialty training in pediatric ENT to care for the needs of infants and children. At ENT & Audiology Associates, the team’s primary goal is to obtain an accurate diagnosis that leads to successful medical intervention. The attentive medical staff strive to be efficient and on time and offer urgent and same-day appointments as well as late office hours on Wednesdays. Every audiologist has received a Clinical Doctorate in Audiology from an accredited university graduate program. Dr. Holmes offers surgery on Saturdays at the UNC Rex Hospital, where they’re the preferred ENT providers for intensive care, hospitalists, and inpatients. The diligent providers know that illness can be unpredictable, so they work to meet the needs of every individual. We offer a full range of ear, nose, and throat procedures with a special emphasis in nasal surgery, sinus surgery, and balloon sinuplasty. Our audiology department offers evaluation and treatment for hearing loss, tinnitus, and balance disorders for all ages. We do it all from straight forward to complex!
