Before a license can be renewed, all qualifiers must verify their continued association with the license. On the bottom of the “Renewal at a Glance” page, there is a section for license qualifier verifications. The “Renewal at a Glance” page is the first page you see anytime you start or continue a renewal application.

If you are wanting to make your inactive license active again, you must complete the required 8 hours of Continuing Education. If your license has been inactive for more than 2 years, you'll need 16 hours of CE to make it active.

Last week, we joined fellow NASCLA Board of Directors members in Asheville for our annual mid-year meeting.

While together, we also coordinated a service project to support the Town of Marshall, North Carolina, a community north of Asheville that was devastated by Hurricane Helene in the fall of 2024.

This year’s initiative, in collaboration with Lowe’s Services and the Town of Marshall, supports ongoing recovery and restoration efforts from storm-related damage to key public spaces that serve residents and visitors.
