How is it graduation season again already?! I have to say you guys, this shoot was really fun and special, mainly because this lady is really fun and special! I have worked with Heidi at my day job for about 9 years now and she is awesome! So awesome in fact that she went out and got a whole other degree (and during a pandemic to boot!)... this time being her M.S. in Counselor Education and will be starting a new career as a mental health counselor. It was such a joy to help document this momentous achievement for her. Congrats, Heidi!

I don’t do many newborn sessions these days, but had to make an exception for my sweet nephew, Wake. He is such an angel and was so much fun to take photos of. Glad he is getting used to the fact that Auntie Charlotte pretty much always has a camera in her hand. If you can’t tell he is a total beach baby. This shoot was a super fun collab with my Sister-in-law and my Mother-in-law, who both styled the shoot with fun beach props. Best part of this shoot were the excellent baby snuggles afterward. When you get a chance to take engagement photos for someone you've literally known since her parents brought her home from the hospital you jump at the chance. This shoot was such a treat for me! We really lucked out on a gorgeous evening at one of my favorite locations, Yates Mill. I am so excited for these two and can't wait till their wedding in 2022! Congrats Lauren & Ryan!
