That’s our boys right there !!! Great job boys and parents !!! We collected close to $1000 and another mom , Dr. Angie Swiersz and I went shopping to help bring a little bit of home for the holidays for those service men and women who are separated from their families during the holiday season. We collected everything from toiletries, holiday snacks, books , games , gift certificates , mugs for hot chocolate (didn’t forget the marshmallows!!), toothbrushes/toothpaste (OF COURSE!!) and holiday decorations !!! My favorite part though were the heartfelt notes the team wrote to service members . A great team effort to support another great team of Americans !!! Carolina Junior Hurricanes Carolina Hurricanes

Happy Thanksgiving y’all !!

As Thanksgiving draws to a close , my wish for you and yours and for the rest of the year, is Peace. This year has been one of so much uncertainty, so much pain , and so much loss. Everyday I try to find something to be grateful for. Just one thing and some days it is hard. May peace fill our hearts and displace anxiety , sadness, and fear . Today , I was thankful that my “ZippA” still did the job after dinner ! Happy Thanksgiving y’all!!!!
