This past month has been National Senior Independence Month, and it is the perfect time to celebrate what independence really looks like as we age.

At ThriveMore at Home, we see it every day in members like Dianne and Linda. Dianne leads volunteer exercise classes that have grown into a true community, bringing people together in person and online to stay strong and connected.

Linda fills her days with purpose through volunteering, family time and the freedom to choose how she spends this season of life. As Linda shared, independence to her is “just being free to do what you want to do, not what you have to do.”

Their stories remind us that independence is not about doing everything alone. It is about having choice, purpose and the confidence that support is there when you need it. ThriveMore at Home exists to make that possible for older adults who want to continue living at home while staying connected, protected and engaged.

Today we’re excited to introduce you to Chandler Bauer, Wellness Coordinator at ThriveMore at Home. She's someone who brings so much heart, knowledge, and encouragement to our members every single day.

With nearly a decade of nursing experience, Chandler blends clinical expertise with genuine compassion as she walks alongside members through life’s joys and challenges. She loves her monthly one‑on‑one conversations, where she helps individuals stay active, plan ahead, and navigate their wellness goals with confidence and care.

Outside of work, Chandler stays energized with daily outdoor walks (dog included!), fresh air, and neighborly hellos.

With deep experience in senior living and a genuine passion for helping older adults plan confidently for the future, Jeanne walks alongside new and current members as they navigate their options, ask questions, and map out what aging in place can look like for them. She loves building relationships, hearing each member’s story, and helping them find peace of mind through thoughtful planning.

When she’s not supporting members, Jeanne enjoys exploring new plant‑based recipes with her husband — one of her favorite wellness activities!
