Welcome to our Hormone Health Series—a four-part look at the hormones that shape your cycle, fertility, and wellness. First up: FSH (Follicle Stimulating Hormone).

FSH signals your ovaries to prepare an egg for ovulation. If levels are higher than expected, it can suggest the ovaries are working harder than usual—something we monitor closely during fertility testing.

Follow along this month as we break down the key hormones behind your reproductive health—one post at a time

Trust. Safety. Excellence.

We’re proud to share that Atlantic Reproductive Medicine has earned the REI Protect Seal of Approval—a national recognition awarded to fertility clinics that meet the highest standards in reproductive care.

Fewer than 10% of programs nationwide earn this distinction. It reflects our unwavering commitment to patient safety, scientific excellence, and compassionate care—every step of the way.

Because your journey deserves nothing less. 💙

Fertility care can be emotional—your comfort matters.

That’s why Atlantic Reproductive offers nitrous oxide during certain procedures to help you feel more calm, relaxed, and in control. It’s fast-acting, self-administered, and wears off quickly—so you can focus on what really matters.💙

Ask us about Comfort Care at your next visit.

Proud of our very own Dr. Coward who is participating in the SREI fellow symposium, working to strengthen the relationship between REIs & reproductive Urologists in our clinic and beyond!

👋 Meet Dr. Matt Coward, our next faculty feature for the upcoming symposium!

Hi! I’m a reproductive urologist based in Raleigh, NC, where I serve as VP and Chief of Male Reproductive Medicine and Surgery at Atlantic Reproductive Medicine (). I’m also President of the Society for Male Reproduction and Urology (SMRU).

📚 What will you be speaking about at the Symposium?
I’ll be presenting on Financial Literacy for Fellows —a crash course on what every physician needs to know to build wealth, avoid common financial traps, and turn a high income into long-term freedom. Think of it as your “second job” as a new attending!

🌟 Why are you involved in the symposium?
As SMRU President, I’m deeply committed to mentorship and interdisciplinary education. I’m also involved as faculty for the concurrent SMRU Fellows Symposium, which I helped launch last year and now co-runs alongside SREI’s program.

🤝 What are you most excited about?
This year marks an exciting step forward in collaboration between SMRU and SREI. We’ve expanded joint programming, built bridges between reproductive urology and REI fellows, and are redefining what integrated training looks like for the next generation of reproductive medicine leaders.

📅 Join us in Park City, August 21–24!

Today we celebrate World Embryology Day and honor a milestone that changed the future of fertility care—the birth of Louise Joy Brown, the world’s first baby born through IVF, on this day in 1978.
From that groundbreaking moment to the thousands of families growing through IVF today, we’re proud to support every step of your fertility journey with science, heart, and hope.

Thank you to the Atlantic embryologists whose skill and dedication help make this dream a reality for our Atlantic families—and to the researchers and patients who continue to make miracles possible.

It’s official—North Carolina has passed a long-awaited bill to modernize PA practice laws, thanks to nearly a decade of tireless advocacy.

Atlantic’s own Meg Beal, PA-C played a key role in pushing this forward, serving as a former President of the North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants and continuing to advocate through the Government Affairs Committee.
This bipartisan-supported legislation passed unanimously in both chambers—a major step forward for PAs and the patients they serve.

We’re proud to stand behind our providers who help shape the future of medicine, inside and outside the clinic! 💜
