April is Second Chance Month in North Carolina 💙 a time to recognize that everyone deserves an opportunity to rebuild their life. At The Carter Clinic, we see firsthand how difficult it can be for individuals returning home after incarceration. Limited access to jobs, housing, and support systems continues to stand in the way, and too many people remain caught in the cycle of being justice involved.

During our Open House, we shared space with incredible voices who spoke from the heart about life after service, growing up in low income communities, and the silent battles with painkillers and other addictions that often follow 💙
