Announcement: Joining Raleigh Dermatology, Affiliate of Anne Arundel Dermatology

Dr. Lisa Abernethy Christman will be joining Raleigh Dermatology, an affiliate of Anne Arundel Dermatology, beginning February 2024.

Appointment Scheduling: Dr. Christman is currently going through the credentialing process with each insurance company. It typically takes several months to complete credentialing. The timeline is different with each insurance company. Once she is credentialed with a given insurance, Dr. Christman will be able to start seeing patients who are covered under that particular payer. If you have Medicare with a secondary insurance, Dr. Christman will need to be credentialed with both the primary and secondary payers, prior to seeing you as a patient. She will post on her webpage when her credentialing is complete with each insurance. Once she is credentialed with your insurance(s), you may call (919) 876-3656 to schedule your appointment.

Remember to apply your sunscreen. Read the label and reapply as directed. You can find individually packaged sunscreen wipes to carry with you so you don't have to carry around a large tube or spray can.

I am encouraged that the US Surgeon General has published this call to action with 5 goals to address the major public health problem of skin cancer.
