Elsie's Place is a family care residence named for Elsie McDonald, grandmother to Gina Stavredes, who is owner and administrator. Elsie was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease in 1986. She lived with it for nearly 10 years before passing away in 1996. From this experience, Gina was inspired to help enrich the lives of others and make the best of the rest of their lives. Elsie's Place is Gina's way of helping family members understand, cope, and enjoy their elderly loved ones.
