We are now offering Moderna and J&J COVID-19 vaccines to family and friends of patients starting on Wednesday, May 26, 2021.

Good Morning Folks!
As of Friday (4/9/2021) we have been released to administer the COVID-19 Janssen vaccine. To quote the Public Health Dept..."Analysis by the CDC did not find any safety issues or reason for concern; and the CDC recommends continuing to administer the vaccines." ATTENTION: As of 4pm today, we were notified by the Wake County Department of Health that the lot number of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine that was dispensed to our clinic is now on HOLD. This is due to recent adverse reactions reported at PNC Arena on Thursday which "were typically immediate" according to Matt Calabria, chairman of the Wake County Board of Commissioners. It is not currently known how many people had adverse reactions at the PNC Arena and it is currently under investigation. No individuals vaccinated in our clinic on Thursday demonstrated reactions and we are monitoring the situation. We will not be able to offer the vaccine until further notice. Please keep checking back here for updates on this situation. Thank you!

I just wanted to remind everyone that Allergy Season is just around the corner, so don't delay in making your appointments to get your Allergy test done here at Med One Medical Group. If you have never had a test done before you will need to make the first appointment with your provider and then see Marisa our Allergist.

Since we have been getting a lot of calls concerning the COVID 19 vaccine we thought we would share some information with you:
Wake County is currently in Phase 1a
Phase 1a is aimed to protect health care workers who work with COVID 19 patients directly, those working on the vaccine rollout, and those at highest risk of being hospitalized or dying from COVID 19. While vaccines are NOT CURRENTLY open to the public yet, we ask for everyone's patience as we work through the prioritizations.
