🍅 Taste the Tomato is Back at TAC 🍅
We’re excited to celebrate the return of our annual Taste the Tomato event, one of our favorite traditions at Triangle Acupuncture Clinic.
Each year, we offer a variety of free heirloom tomato plants for our patients to take home, plant, and enjoy. What makes these tomatoes special is the care and intention behind them. Every winter, we select seeds inspired by the Five Elements of Chinese Medicine, from sweet, vibrant cherry tomatoes (Fire) to rich, juicy varieties (Water), tangy selections (Wood), unique and rare strains (Metal), and abundant growers (Earth).
From seed to sprout, these plants are lovingly cultivated over several months. They are started indoors, carefully tended, and gradually prepared for the outdoors. Once the final frost has passed, they are ready to find a new home with you.
This year, we have 10 beautiful varieties, including Indigo Cherry, Cherokee Purple, and San Marzano.
As you nurture your plant and watch it grow, we hope it serves as a small reminder of the care you are giving yourself too, growing, blooming, and eventually harvesting the rewards of that work.
