My Story
I decided to go into massage therapy because I love to help people, as well as animals. I see someone in pain or when they are stressed and I have a need to make their lives better. Whether it be a massage to relax them or a massage to ease the pain, people tend to feel much better days after a massage with me. After learning about the different issues that massage therapy can help with, I decided to go to school and pursue a career doing what I love. I graduated from Everest Institute, Cross Lanes, WV in 2014 with a License in Massage Therapy. Upon graduation, I went on to my first job as a Licensed Massage Therapist at Medical Massage Therapy, where I was employed for 3 years before I decided to start my own business you all know as Me Time Mobile Massage. In starting this business, I felt it would benefit the client and take away some of the stress of trying to make it to an office appointment by me coming to their homes or businesses. In turn they wouldn’t have to fight traffic, and risk being late in getting a massage then end up being turned away due to another person’s appointment next in line. I try to do whatever I can to ensure my clients have the least amount of stress as possible when getting massage therapy. I am knowledgeable in Swedish Therapy your basic spa type massage, Deep Tissue Therapy where I work my hands slowly to get deep into the muscle tissue, Pregnancy Therapy to ease the struggles of back pain, foot pain, and any stress that comes along with being pregnant. I am also well educated in Trigger Point Therapy where I release areas in the muscles that are constricted causing alleviating pain, as well as, pain issues from low back pain, hip pain and sciatica. In dealing with these issues I feel that stretching a few minutes before a massage can help tremendously in reducing pain in those areas.
