Qi Gong for Women Series Starts next week Jan 21
Join me for a gentle, nourishing movement series designed to support women’s bodies through all seasons of life. In this five-week Qi Gong series, you’ll be guided through light, flowing movements drawn from several forms of Qi Gong and foundational Tai Chi Chuan principles—focused on energy cultivation, balance, and ease.
There are many different kinds of moving and meditative Qi Gong. Not all practices commonly taught today work with internal energy in the same way or with the same depth. In this series, we will be practicing heart-centered forms that I have found to be particularly effective at moving, balancing, and harmonizing energy—while remaining gentle, accessible, and supportive of the nervous system. Many of the practices I am sharing come from my recently completed certification as a Tao Ta***ic Arts Facilitator. I am thrilled to integrate these practices into work with my community.
This work is especially beneficial for:
Women’s bodies and changing hormonal cycles
Healthy aging and vitality
Emotional balance and nervous system regulation
Overall well-being and embodied presence
We’ll focus on simple, easy-to-learn movements that you can realistically integrate into your daily life. Each class will also include a few minutes of a self-healing meditation protocol to support inner balance and your body’s natural capacity for restoration.
Practicing together matters – at the same time and/or place. When we move and cultivate energy in a shared field, the experience is often amplified—more grounded, more present, and more nourishing than practicing alone. I am very much looking forward to sharing this space with you.
A Note on Pangu Shengong
One of the Qi Gong forms that has been most impactful in my own personal practice is Pangu Shengong. While learning this form is not required to participate in the series, it can greatly support and deepen the experience of energy cultivation and integration. I always encourage all my students and clients to do the Pangu Shengong Moving Form (and other forms too if learned) daily with any other daily practices.
So, if you have not already learned the Pangu Moving Form and are interested in doing so, please let me know. I’m happy to share a way for you to learn this form as a separate, optional offering that can be integrated alongside this series.
