Ralls Family Medicine had been informed yesterday of possible power outages today starting at 10 a.m. We have since been informed that this information was inaccurate, but we are still taking precautions in case of power loss and will be seeing walk-in patients only today, and will be open as long as we continue to have power. Hello all! I thought I would share what we are currently seeing in the clinic. Flu numbers are definitely down, still having a few come in daily. The crud has struck! Many patients coming in with cough, congestion, sore throat, fever, body aches, you name it, and testing negative for the usual suspects. Remember, if you don't truly feel sick, don't take antibiotics!!! Protect your gut and your overall health by doing the following simple things... Increase fluids, and I don't mean tea and coffee! Get some rest, yeah that's what I said, get some rest. Crank up the supplemental vitamin D3 and vitamin C, maybe throw in some B vitamins and zinc and let your body do it's thing! God Bless.

The word of the day is Influenza A! I know that's technically a word and a letter, but it sounded better. It is also a horrible virus that is spreading around West Texas as numbers continue to rise. If you have a high fever 101-104 with severe body aches, this is most likely what your have!
For existing patient's having trouble getting same day appointments, I truly apologize, as our clinic staffing and rooming accommodations can only handle around 25 to 30 patients per day. For any existing patients that are unable to book a same day appointment, but think you may have the flu, please go ahead and leave your contact information so that I may provide follow up as soon as possible in order to try to ensure our existing patient's are properly taken care of!

We are suddenly seeing tons of positive Flu A in clinic this week. 😷 Symptoms are very typical, very high fever 102-104 and severe body aches!!! Y'all stay safe out there! Please call the clinic if you have any questions or concerns!

I would like to apologize to those who have received multiple statements, or have received incorrect statements from Ralls Family Medicine.
