6:30 p.m.
Fellowship Hall, Messiah Lutheran Church
The longest night is a contemplative service held for people who find the holidays a struggle or want to acknowledge the same on behalf of others in the world. The struggle varies—loneliness, grief, addiction, exhaustion from doing too much. For those of us who find ourselves in that place, the holidays can seem like a long, dark night.
On this literal day of the longest night, you are invited to join us for a service of Word and music of lament and longing. May they offer both companionship and hope this holiday season.
