Marian didn’t just come to the gym - she came back to herself. 💜

After losing the love of her life, Marian’s world stopped. Grief, isolation, and addiction followed. But one morning, she made a promise to herself – a promise to start living again. She got sober. She went back to school. And when she walked through the doors of Anytime Fitness in Burlington, NC, she found something she didn’t know she was missing: peace, purpose, and people who had her back.

Today, Marian has lost 122 pounds and found her place of healing inside these four walls. She’s even made the Dean’s List at school! Her strength isn’t just in what she lifts, it’s in what she’s overcome.

There was a time when depression, panic attacks, and the fear of being “the new one” made the gym door feel too heavy to open for Danielle. But that Coach's text and the accountability from a welcoming community refused to let her hesitation take over. Strength training became her therapy - releasing anxiety, rebuilding balance, and proving that progress doesn’t start with perfection, it starts with showing up.

Today, Danielle is down 125 pounds and living in a body, and mindset, she once thought impossible. But her biggest transformation isn’t physical. She’s now a coach at Anytime Fitness Tarpon Springs, using her story to remind others that courage doesn’t mean never being scared—it means walking in anyway. Because here, our coaches don’t just train you. They get you. They’ve been in your shoes, and they’ll walk beside you until you find your own strength too.

New look. Same goals. just got a glow-up! 💪 ​

In 2014, Todd and Maryam Silance had a dream to bring accessible fitness to a small rural town. They opened Anytime Fitness Brodheadsville and the gym quickly became a local staple, known for its welcoming atmosphere, strong community ties, and commitment to helping members reach their goals. ​

Fast forward to today, with a new business partner Scott Cheek and under the amazing leadership ofManager Ellie Stelmach, AF Brodheadsville is considered “home” to many. ​

With a passionate team, state-of-the-art equipment, and a people first approach, Anytime Fitness Brodheadsville is more than just a gym - it’s a place where lives are changed. The gym continues to grow and evolve while staying true to its roots: building a healthier, stronger community one member at a time. ​

Sharon, member of Anytime Fitness Newark, DE is no stranger to battles. When she's not training hard in the gym, she's shaving minutes off her obstacle course times.​

Her toughest battle came in 2023: a breast cancer diagnosis. She viewed this as another challenge to overcome. Over the years, AF Newark had become more than just a gym to her – it was a place to "escape and find comfort amidst life’s storms."

As soon as Sharon got the green light after her treatments, she was back in the gym. Her Coaches followed her doctor’s strict guidelines, adjusting her workouts to be just right for her recovery, while focusing on
building back strength and flexibility.​

Today, Sharon is stronger than ever, physically and emotionally. Her story is a reminder of how a strong community is important for helping navigate life's challenging times.​

“I knew something had to change. I wasn’t going to wait any longer.”​

That’s how Joy’s journey with Anytime Fitness Quincy began. Her "aha moment" was at her annual physical when she was labeled "morbidly obese." She knew it was time to take control of her health and her life.​

Joy started with Small Group Training three times a week, almost every move was a modification at first. But with support from Coach Spencer and the entire community at AF Quincy, she built strength, confidence, and a routine.​

The results? Joy has lost half her body weight and 11 clothes sizes, but for her, it's more about what she's gained. ​

“Through hard work and healthy eating, I’ve gained back 13 years of my life. I am happy, healthy, joyful, fit, and strong."​

Our Story

I am extremely excited to bring Anytime Fitness to Ramona! After almost two and a half years, it is finally becoming a reality! I can’t wait for you to see and experience what Anytime Fitness is all about! I look forward to meeting you and helping you reach your fitness goals! Throughout my life I have been involved in athletics, training for athletics and rehabilitating through one injury after another. I have also worked with corporations for nearly 20 years that manufacture medical devices and pharmaceuticals that prolong and save lives. As I look back, much of my life has been about helping people live longer and healthier lives. As I look forward, I want to continue following that passion and put it to work in a great community. The result is what Anytime Fitness Ramona will become. I hope you join me in creating a very welcoming and encouraging culture that members will enjoy while achieving and sustaining their fitness goals. This will be a gym for anyone, from the first timer to the lifelong gym enthusiast. This is your gym!
