I must have a written note of referral from a chiropractor/medical doctor, insurance information and an open claim, but I can take care of that part of the process so you can focus on healing.

Baby it’s cold outside…..and I am loving it!!!

I have ordered a goats milk soap making kit, complete with essential oils and a big ole book on the history of and making natural soaps!!

Well my personal New Year’s resolutions hit me smack in the face on New Years Eve!! This is a testimony to how overworking your muscles and how all the chemicals in our food system, can really impair our bodies. I knew it..in my logical head, but I can tell you that I experienced it and it was not good. You see “ Your health truly is your Wealth” and in so many ways. Living your best life, how you treat other people but for me it also hurts financially.
Last Wednesday I went into the dentist for a crown. My body was hurting, as I have not been stretching or moving for a long time. Over Christmas I have enjoyed lots of cookies, pies, cakes, candy and Diet Coke, Pepsi, and Sprite. I have been “ on vacation” from eating properly for a long time and have gained weight to prove it. Anyway, after the dentist, I worked through 4.5 hrs of massaging. My jaw hurt ( normal) but my hips and lower back were absolutely killing me. I struggled, took ibuprofen and muscled through the shift.
That evening it was like my back and hip locked. I was in massive pain.
I could barely move for four days. I missed two days of work. On Thursday, I started reading about the effects of aspartame which coincidentally mirrored what I was going through. I started drinking water and hot turmeric tea and within a few hours began to feel a little better. I still had pain but I could move a little bit. I kept up with the water, used a heating pad, iced it, massage protocol, and CBD and continued to improve. I eliminated sugar from my diet and started adding more protein and veggies and finally today ( Monday) am back at work and feeling ready to go!!
I still have a twinge in my lower back but will practice good self care with clean food, WATER, stretching, rest.
As I age my body can’t tolerate the abuse of my younger years so it’s time to make changes.
I don’t know if this resonates with any of you, but let’s make 2026 our best year ever!!!! Body, Mind, and Soul!

Drive on over…today is massage day!!
Our first snow fall and shoveling, the holidays are upon us now and it’ time to take care of your most precious asset… your health.

Due to the government shutdown and no SNAP benefits for people beginning in November, Conchita Bodyworkz will begin to collect non-perishable food and personal hygiene products to be delivered to our local food shelves.

If you are able and would like to participate, please bring them in when you come for your next massage.
