We had the pleasure of hosting Richard Max Stillman who put on a wonderful program in honor of Tartan Day!

Wearing kilt and traditional Scottish garb, this Troubadour performed Scottish songs, ballads, reels and dances, showing his skill on bagpipes, guitar, mandolin, banjo, harmonica and more! There were stories and jokes as he channeled Robert Burns famed Scottish vaudevillian, Harry Lauder. Our residents loved the show!

We sang traditional songs, offered prayers of thanks and shared warm Passover memories. Rabbi also brought our residents special, hand made Matza for Wednesday evening.

Last week, we were touched by the last Mass celebrated here by visiting priest Reverend Father Raul Ausa, Rector of Holy Trinity Episcopalian Church in Allendale before he moves to a new a new ministry in the south.

The Gospel reading was about Lazarus and as such really drew the faithful to reflect on their spiritual journey as we entered Passion Week.

We presented Father with farewell gifts and a card, signed by us. We're grateful for Father's ministry and forever mindful of his contribution to our community.
