Hello All~

I am navigating more transition and will try to make new videos to share Yoga that I find accessible for most people.

I begin a new job, office type, tomorrow and something I am excited for, however it is not Yoga.

It will be my goal to share on the page, yoga, information and materials I have found valuable for my overall health and hope will be for you also.

Today we practice chair pose and use our practice to consider our words, specifically “I should”.

Chair pose/utkatasana is a powerful pose. Please use caution if you are managing knee issues and only take the pose as deep into knee bend as feels comfortable in your body. It is great for toning the legs, strengthen hips, calves and back, and very effective to help build focus and willpower.

So often “I should” becomes worsa that defeat us but substituting “I will” in its place, it quickly can become a call to action.

I hope that today you feel the strength and courage it takes to meet all of life’s obstacles with will and conviction.

Is it a big mountain to climb, your path to once and for all get healthy?

I’ve been there, and certainly have my own mountains I continue to climb every day. One of the things Yoga has taught me is that it takes practice and that if I do my best, I have done all I can and when I stumble, life offers another chance to begin again.

Wishing you patience, strength and courage as you brave the top of your mountain! ⛰ ☀️

Hitch in your giddy up? Whatever that hitch is, we all have something that slows us down at times. Yoga is about recognizing where that may be in your body and rather than using that to discourage your effort, looking to find a way to support those areas of lack.

Today’s sequence of poses are focused on strengthen and supporting the area through our hips and gait.

While many yoga poses are complex and difficult, there are many more that are simple and accessible for most people.

Today’s short sequence is about relieving the stress and tension we carry in our shoulders and back. I hope that it is helpful and brings relief.

Thank you for watching, as well for your understanding with regards to my untamable hair and the barking dogs in the background😊

" You become. It takes a long time. That’s why it doesn’t happen often to people who break easily, or have sharp edges, or who have to be carefully kept. Generally, by the time you are Real, most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose in your joints and very shabby.
But these things don’t matter at all, because once you are Real you can’t be ugly, except to people who don’t understand."

I use Braggs regular apple cider vinegar to help detox the liver. There are huge health benefits of a clean liver, including aiding in weight loss, as the liver is the dumping grounds for the toxins, disease, all the gunk our bodies cannot dispose.

The original type is very potent a stuff, not the best flavor but now they are carrying some new flavors and beverages that are much milder, easy to drink!

For this spritzer I used about 3 ounces of Braggs grape drink and 8 ounces of club soda, good flavor! Virtually no sugar and what sugar there is, is well processed by the body.

Day 3
Why Yoga? It’s beginnings for me came long before my first yoga class, with my Dad at the VA Hospital. My story.

Today for your practice find some time/meditation to consider your story.

Create a space to take deep breathes to think about the road that brought you here, joys, struggles, losses, triumphs, all your parts. As you do, maybe you consider how your story may help someone else, as well honor your journey.
