f Mary Kristi Sesso, founder of The Harmony Group, LLC. Kim is also a member of the Authentic Pilates Union and Pilates Method Alliance. Her love of life makes her a compassionate and attentive teacher that makes a difference for any student no matter their age, limitations or lifestyles. Her approach to Pilates is from the perspective of biomechanics and functional anatomy. She utilizes Pilates as a neuro-muscular and movement organization system to create greater functionality, clarity, strength and ease. Kimberly maintains a philosophy that highlights working with clients as individuals and instructs from a platform that emphasizes education in conjunction with dynamic movement. She prides herself on teaching with excellence and customizing fitness programs to ensure that her clients achieve maximum benefit from Pilates conditioning. Known for her highly trained eye and meticulous attention to detail, she is an expert motivator who encourages pupils to foster respect for their bodies while surmounting perceived limitations. Kimberly’s extraordinary work also includes working with pre/post-natal bodies, post-rehab recovery and maintenance, osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, joint replacement, sacroiliac dysfunction, chronic pain, Multiple Sclerosis (MS), and scoliosis including gait analysis for professional and recreational movers. She also, received Certifications in ActivCore by Pilates on 5th in New York City, Power Plate Acceleration Training® by Power Plate and TRX Sports Medicine Suspension Training. She is constantly integrating up to date information into her work. Her knowledge base includes learning advances in anatomy, physiology and structural kinesiology (the science of muscles during movement). Kim’s approach to physical fitness includes mental, emotional and spiritual health while employing a series of complimentary methods which provides access to achieving a wider range of results.
