✨ February Highlights ✨
February was filled with 💕 love, 📚 learning, ✊🏾 Black history, and 🎉 celebrations!
💡 Our Science team joined the “Love of Learning” event at WCU, where students enjoyed interactive learning games and fun prizes!
🤖 I had the opportunity to attend a McGraw Hill Symposium, collaborating on innovative online resources for Science courses and exploring AI integration. It was encouraging to see their commitment to Title II ADA compliance and accessibility.
💚💗 Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Eta Nu Omega Chapter proudly represented at the 46th Annual Riverside Black History Parade, showing our strong Divine 9 presence and spreading joy with candy for the community kids.
📚 As part of my Library Commissioner duties, I attended a Black History program at Chaparral Hills Elementary in Moreno Valley—sharing library resources and connecting with young readers.
🎷 Pink Well Health hosted its “Debut in Pink” Jazz Brunch Fundraiser benefiting a local Adult Day Health Center—so proud of my sorority sister Teri for turning her vision into reality!
🌟 I was also proud to witness Soror Keona recognized by UCR Black Alumni Chapter for her impactful service and leadership.
✨ And great news to close the month—the BSU at West Coast University is being reinstated! I’m excited to serve as the student advisor and support these amazing student leaders. 💪🏾💖
