“As soon as the Western diet comes into the population, you get cancer … and diabetes and things like this.” I’ve read this doctor’s research for years. He’s on top of it. He’s largely responsible for my reasoning for eating an ancestrial/carnivore (mostly) type diet. This is why ancient populations didn’t have cancer (I love you guys, but it’s not the meat doing it.) In fact, a lot of veggies help drive inflammation. Anthropology shows that we were primarily HUNTERS and not gatherers. We followed the flocks, just like the plains Indians of this continent…which were coincidentally super specimens as humans. Just sitting in a terminal waiting for a flight home. Spent time with Seth and Spencer in Austin. Was a good break, but ready to get back home. Miss the kids and everyone. Plus, I’ve realized what a creature of habit I am. Lol

From my good friend Dave. Thanks for the post, my friend. You was just talking to a patient about something similar today. Everything, I mean EVERYTHING about longevity says something about how strength is a good marker for not only living a long life, but also remaining independent. Stay strong. Stay mobile. Keep learning. Keep growing. Change your mind to have a growth/ learning mindset. Lastly, don’t settle for what everyone else is settling for. F**k that. Be content in the thought that you are going to get up early every day and push yourself to be the best you can today. I love you guys. Have an awesome week.
