Celebrating Graduation Day is fun but also bittersweet. Our various patients have worked so hard to get to this day.

We know that dealing with infertility is hard. Honestly it can be really difficult. Difficult for everyone: the woman most importantly, but also the partner, the parent, the best friend… so many people. But when our medical science and reproductive biology works, it’s truly amazing, emotional, and also scary because people often times have not made it this far in their pregnancies before.

An early morning weekend transfer on a wet Pasadena day.. when we use natural transfer protocols we need to follow what the body’s natural hormones are doing and transfer on the optimal day to keep our success rates high.

For those wondering, I prefer a good rain hat as opposed to an umbrella even though it looks a little silly. I feel more in tune with the rain and stay dry enough. 💧🌧️

We’re so happy for our graduating patients who have put so much effort in! Walking the walk of fertility can be challenging but celebrating the positive is good.

We can’t wait to see the baby photos soon enough. Yay! 👶📸

Fertility Options & Family Planning Talk! I had a wonderful time speaking with the Internal Medicine and ObGyn Residents at Riverside Community Hospital.

We discussed egg freezing, steroid use, and optimal ways to help our future fertility. Many doctors put their fertility on hold for decades and then need to go through advanced treatments later. Hopefully we can minimize some of this with good knowledge about our field.🤞

The Residents had great questions afterwards and were very engaged during the lecture. 🤓 Sheesh they even laughed at several of my doctor jokes. 😅

It was nice connecting in person with some of the team in Graduate Medical Education office in person as well!

Lastly, way to go RCH and Progyny for finding a way to get our residents some much needed fertility coverage. 🙌

Graduation Day is bittersweet. We’re all so happy, somewhat relieved, and sad that we’re graduating our patients back to their ObGyns.

We always say that you’ll be in good hands, but we get it. It’s hard to move on when you’ve been working with people during your fertility care for so long.

We love seeing baby photos and getting holiday cards from our graduates! 🎓 👶🐣

Running errands, working early, doing the laundry, exercising, etc.. Saturday fun!!

With all this running around one needs some old school LA eats. Today I went deep into Glendale and got some award winning food from Zhengyalov Hatz and Mini-Kabob!! So good.

They were both deelish 😋🤤 but in different ways!

If you’ve been to both, which is your fave? I’m definitely torn..

What a fun lunch celebrating our team and a wonderful year caring for our patients! We exchanged a few gifts, ate a couple extra cookies, and had some good ol’ work fun!
