Dr. Elizabeth B. Drewry came to the National Archives in 1936, just two years after its establishment. In 1961 she became the first woman to head a Presidential Library when she became the Director of the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum in Hyde Park, NY.

Drewry worked 25 years at what was then the National Archives and Records Service under the General Services Administration and was a vital member of the National Archives staff. She left the National Archives in Washington, DC, to work at the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum in Hyde Park, NY. She eventually became the Director of the Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum, where she stayed from 1961 until her retirement in 1969. Drewry was instrumental in raising money for the Eleanor Roosevelt wings, which were completed in 1972.

This gravestone is for Rebecca Jones with the epitaph "Better known as obstinate Beckey Jones." In New York, Jones worked for an affluent family as the head housekeeper for many years. When the head of the household passed, there was a clash among family members regarding the will. The best person who could interpret the intent of the deceased was Rebecca Jones, but instead she chose to remain silent. In an effort to get her to talk, she was incarcerated for 42 weeks, but she still refused to speak. Eventually she was released after the family came to an agreement, but the court had labeled her as "obstinate Beckey Jones" for her adamance to not speak. Born in Santa Ana California CA and lived in Escondido Corona and Riverside.
Son of the late Juan and Beatrice (Almager) Esquibel. He passed away Monday, December 24, 2012 in Riverside, California at the age of 86 years. Joe served our country with pride and honor as a member of the United States Navy. A 50 year resident, he worked 33 years as a truck driver for Western Waste Management Co. Joseph was preceded in death by two sons Joseph Esquibel, Patrick Esquibel, and two grandson's Ernie Allen Esquibel Jr. and Florencio Esquibel Ramirez. He is survived by the mother of his children and former wife, Virginia Esquibel; sister Annie of San Marcos, CA; brother Victor Esquibel of Hemet; children, Linda Flanigan of Sylmar, CA, Olivia Esquibel of Riverside, CA, Josephine Zavala of Riverside, CA, Ernie Esquibel of Riverside, CA Roberta Polder of Murrieta, CA
