Dear God or a God of your understanding,

We come to You with heavy hearts today as we remember those who have lost their lives to the grip of addiction. We grieve for the souls who struggled, who fought battles we may never fully understand. May they find peace in Your embrace, free from pain and suffering.

We ask for comfort for their families and friends, who are left with the weight of loss and unanswered questions. Surround them with Your love and strength as they navigate through their grief. Help them to find solace in the memories shared and the love that remains.

Lord, we also pray for those who are still fighting their battles with addiction. Grant them the courage to seek help and the strength to overcome their struggles. May they find hope and healing, and be surrounded by support and compassion.

In Your infinite mercy, may we all be reminded of the importance of compassion, understanding, and connection. Help us to reach out to those in need, to listen without judgment, and to offer love and support.
