For some, an activation of energetic flow, a shift or release of blocked energy or an energy center (chakra) can be felt physically in the body.

Have you ever experienced tingling or a buzzing sensation during a sound bath? Pulsing? Warmth? A heavy, dense feeling like an anchor to the earth? These are some examples of energy moving. Watery eyes, yawning, exhaling, throat clearing, crying, and coughing are other common experiences.

Strong emotional reactions, even physical discomforts like unexplained headache, ear ache, or back pain for example can be a result of stagnant energy being released.

Patience and practicing good self–care when working with chakras is essential. Stay hydrated, gentle movement and massage may help. Remember to always follow up with your doctor if physical pain persists.

As above, so below. Each month the new moon rises and sets with the sun, leaving us with a moonless night and a sky full of stars and quiet introspection. A reminder for you to see your own bejeweled night sky within. ✨ Your stars are bright and plentiful!

Our next new moon occurs September 21st, with energies overlapping a bit with the Fall Equinox on the 22nd. As we move into this celestial energy, it is often a time of reflection and intention setting. Fall equinox vibes complement the new moon’s invitation to reflect upon balance, transition and gratitude 🙏

Try this if you’d like:
1) Play your singing bowl (or sound healing instrument you have, or your beautiful voice!) while you reflect on gratitude for the abundance of the year and preparing for how or what to transition towards.

2) Then speak or sing this intention or wish to the new moon. Out loud. I speak my intention into my singing bowl, to be released while playing for the new moon energy.

3) Now it is released! It’s out there ready to shine your light! 🙏🏼
