My wish for you is to shine brightly and boldly in your unique gifts and talents and that you share them with the world. You have been deeply loved long before the moment you were born. My wish for you is that you forever know how much you are cherished in this life. You are curious, creative, and loving. My wish for you is that you leverage those innate strengths and continue to live a life you love. Cheers to you Skyrah and everything you are! I love you!

The mountains were calling and we followed the call!!!!! Mammoth Lakes, California is one of my favorite places on earth and experiencing it alongside has been everything I could have asked for and more. (Love you babe).

We ran the Mammoth Half Marathon (virtually), ate decadent gluten free crepes, yummy meals, swam in the pool, checked out the lakes, and smiled until our cheeks hurt.

It feels so great to be this happy.

Deep exhale - this post takes courage
I was reminded today of a Maya Angelou quote, “If you don't like something, change it. If you can't change it, change your attitude.”
Staying home is hard...
Navigating a divorce is harder...
Doing them both at once is the hardest thing I’ve ever done.
We are riding through the same storm but we are not all in the same boat. For me even, my boat feels like it shifts day by day.
Today my boat feels wrecked. Tomorrow it may feel like I’m riding in a yacht.
No matter what, I keep riding the waves. I know that we are all doing just that. Riding our unique set of waves.
Here’s what I have learned -

✨It takes tremendous courage to do what you never thought you would do.

✨To live life fully means being willing to let go of what you used to want.

✨To have compassion whenever possible (it’s always possible)

✨Family comes in a multitude of packages.

✨Each of us are all having to make tough choices and I trust that we are all doing our best with the resources that we have.

✨Sometimes you have to trade the known for the unknown.
Here’s what I also know-
I see greatness ahead. I choose to keep my eye on the horizon.
As I go through this, I’m reminded of another quote -
🔥
“If it feels like you’re going through hell, keep going.”
🔥
So I will.
In case you need a gentle reminder, no matter what you’re going through..... keep going.
Do what you have to yo do to Sprint, Run, Walk, or Crawl.....
Always keep going.

At 3:48pm on this day four years ago, a miracle was brought into the world and we named her Skyrah.

Skyrah means eternal life, strength, love, and beauty. She has more than lived up to her name.

This day will forever be the day that made me a mommy. This will always be the the day I realized what I was capable of.

To my favorite girl in the world here is what I want you to know -

You are loved beyond measure, limit, and bounds.
You are capable of anything you really want in your life.
You are resourceful, smart, bold, kind, dynamic, and powerful
You are a bright light in the world
You are forever my greatest gift and blessing

As a person who adores community, group fitness, hugs, and dinner out with friends, I notice that this time time of has stirred up a lot for me. I have hit lows and highs, ups and downs, and have been feeling all of it fully.

Today I had a bit of a revelation after meditation this morning.

I realized that I had been asking for this..... For a chance to slow down and feel more fully.

I had been asking for more time to reconnect with what really matters.

I had been craving the space to do puzzles and watch and with my amazing daughter.

Even though I had been craving this.... I had no idea it would come to this world in this way.

So, since this time has been chosen for me, today I thought:

What if this is the perfect chance to slow down and recommit to what matters?

I’m that light, I am choosing to reconnect to deep authentic connection, health, laughter, rest, gratitude for what is, vision for what can be, hope, courage, and radical unprecedented love.

Dave Hollis said, “In the rush to return back to normal, use this time to consider which parts of normal are worth rushing back to.”

This hits home for me as I consider my “normal life” - I am rushing back to yoga, restaurants, state parks, vision casting events, beaches, and most of all - hugs. I am so ready to get my hug on!

Until that happens, I’ll be virtually hugging you from here.

My foresight is 2020.
This will be the year of courage, of faith, and of unrecognizable growth.

To 2019 I want to say thank you for the clarity you have offered me and for making way for me to raise the bar in my life. You will forever be a catalyst for what is up next.

For 2020, I am blown away at the vision I see for my life.

I see purposeful action.
I see radical change.
I see enormous love.
I see a year of new adventures with my girl.
I see deep and transformational growth.
I see epic travel.
I see connection.
I see courage.

If you create the game, then you create the rules. ✨

No matter where you are right now, you have a chance to re-write the rules and play a new game in your life.
Yes, it will take courage.
Yes it will take grit.
Yes it will cost you what you have known.
It will ALSO give you the chance to redirect your life as you dream it.

Here’s what I know for sure…. It is possible to live a life where you can

💫Dream big.
🤩Be grateful.
💫Be bold.
🤩Be courageous.
💫Be YOU.

I believe in my heart that we are all meant for more. Meant to live more. Meant to love more. Meant to Serve more.

Living into that means coming fully into yourself and leveraging your truth, natural gifts, and biggest dreams.

Here’s what I also know….
Unless you choose to live your own life, on your terms, you will always be living for someone else.

Sometimes it is about being willing to do the hard stuff.

It’s a journey but here is an oversimplified path:
-Let go of where you have been.
-Send it gratitude.
-Release it.
-Surround yourself with people that inspire you
-Infuse a healthy helping of vision, personal growth, grit, and courage.
-Create what is next.

The song says it best when it says, “If you just be you, there’s no way you can lose.” ✨

Now go out there and live it in your way with your rules, on your terms.

Oh yeah…. and tell EVERYONE that will listen what you are up to and your chance of creating it increase considerably.

For those of you who are new to my page or don’t know me personally I wanted to introduce myself by sharing some fun facts about me.

- I am a 35 year old December baby and I love planning my own birthday parties 🎉
- I spoke fluent Spanish and English by age 2.
- I am a toddler mom to a 3.5 year old who rocks my world everyday.
- I am regularly the first person on the dance floor and have absolutely no formal training in dance 💃
- My passions revolve around well being, community, personal growth, motherhood, and conscious movement.
- I would never pass up a microphone moment.
- I am a lover of people, running, and yoga.
- I have a degree in geology with a specialty in glaciology.
- Podcasts are my jam.
- I have never dyed my hair and started going grey at age 23. 🤩
- I was raised Jewish and I loved it.
- At this point of my life, love is my religion.
- I live a sober lifestyle all the time.
- I am a yoga professional and have been teaching since 2004.
- Yoga and running are my sanity.
- I am the CEO of my own health and wellness company with
- I love massages, sunshine, mint chocolate, vacations, and home cooked meals.
- I love seeing others succeed.
- I will live abundantly on 1% of my income and give back 99%.
- I am grateful to have built a life supporting others.
- I believe that when you look through the lens of gratitude, you can always find more to be grateful for.

Love yourself.

Love yourself first.💫

Decide that you, as much as anyone or anything deserve your love and affection. ✨

Practice nourishing yourself everyday - through food, movement, thoughts, the way you speak, and in relationships. Your life will transform. 🌟

Love yourself so much that your love overflows to others. 💫

More than anything though focus on step one - love yourself. Do that consistently and it will impact everyone and everything you touch. 🌟

Let’s go out there are spread some big love. ✨
