Ready for a healthy and delicious meal? Check out our Ground Turkey & Avocado Lettuce Wraps! Perfect for a light lunch or dinner thatโs packed with flavor and nutrients!
Ingredients:
1 lb ground turkey
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp chili powder
Salt and pepper to taste
1 avocado, sliced
1 head of romaine or butter lettuce, leaves separated
Cherry tomatoes, halved
1/4 cup Greek yogurt (optional)
Lime wedges for serving
Instructions:
1. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and cook until softened.
2. Add the ground turkey, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Cook until the turkey is browned and fully cooked.
3. To assemble the wraps, place a spoonful of the turkey mixture onto a lettuce leaf, add a slice of avocado, and top with cherry tomatoes and a dollop of Greek yogurt (if using).
4. Squeeze lime juice over the top before eating.
