When we perform a vertically positioned deep plane facelift, we’re lifting the face in a more natural, upward direction—restoring what gravity has pulled down over time.

But sometimes, as we lift everything upward, there can be a little fullness or “bunching” that shows up in the temple area. That area can start to feel heavy if it’s not addressed.

That’s where a temporal lift comes in.

It’s a small, complementary step that smooths and lifts the outer brow and temple region, so everything flows naturally together. Instead of one area looking lifted and another looking heavy, the entire upper face looks balanced, lighter, and more refreshed.
