Today is , so we're taking the time to highlight one of our franchisees! Meet John Cochran from our Birmingham, Alabama (Amramp Accessibility of Birmingham) location:

"My name is John Cochran, I am the owner of Amramp Birmingham/Montgomery. I became the first Amramp franchise owner in Alabama in 2016, covering central and south Alabama. I was first introduced to Amramp when I worked in the home care industry and met Julian Gordon through fellow franchise owner Bill Freshwater. I fell in love with Julian’s vision as well as the quality of product being produced at Amramp. In fact Julian and I stayed in touch for a 2 year period before I came on board to represent the Amramp brand. It was the best business decision I have ever made! Helping people who need assistance with accessibility needs is truly a blessing!
When not working I enjoy spending time with my Siberian Husky, Olive. She is a mess but a lot of fun to play with. My wife Dawn and I like traveling, with our favorite spot being the Sandestin Beach Resort in Florida. I also enjoy the outdoors, smoking meats and grilling out, hanging out with friends, watching multiple sporting events and of course cheering on the greatest college football team of all time. The Alabama Crimson Tide, Roll Tide!!"

Did you know when you move, your ramp can move with you? With Amramp's modular ramp system, we can work with you to move your ramp to your new home, making adjustments as needed!
Recently, one of our customers moved from Massachusetts to Connecticut. Our team in CT worked with the family to ensure their ramp would work at their new home by adding a platform and removing a ramp section to ensure safe, reliable access. Two homes, one ramp, continued accessibility. Check out the before and after photos!

Your ramp, lift, or other accessibility solution can be installed by our Amramp experts quickly and easily. Our products are also available for rent - great for short term disabilities, travel, apartments, or special events.
