This afternoon, the musical group, Sharps and Flats, performed for our residents!

They are known for playing Christian music, encouraging sing-alongs, and performing original songs, making them a favorite between both buildings. The residents absolutely loved the performance and are already looking forward to having them come back again soon!

Today is 'NATIONAL TAKE A VIRTUAL VACATION DAY'! So Building 1 armchair traveled to beautiful ALASKA!!🐳🫎🐻🦅🏔With the help of an interactive armchair travel video that gave us a beautiful tour, some fun trivia, and some great pictures from a staff member who was recently there! We also enjoyed trying some SMOKED SALMON DIP on crackers and came back with some fun post cards that made us all laugh:)!! **Armchair Travels in Memory Care can be extremely beneficial as it stimulates memories, reminiscing, boosts cognitive engagement, improves mood, reduces anxiety with a sense of purpose & adventure and engages ALL the senses**❤️
