“They got me to where I need to be. I’m back to my active life."

After sustaining a shoulder injury at work, the pain and decreased range of motion stopped Rick from fishing, hunting, and day-to-day activities. That's when he turned to WVU Medicine Orthopaedics for the advanced care he needed. 🎣🚣

📣 We’re proud to announce a new partnership with the Martinsburg VA Medical Center that brings advanced brain and spine care closer to home for our veterans.

“Our veterans have given so much in service to our country,” said Dr. John Caruso, WVU Medicine Neurosurgeon who will be providing care to those at the VA Medical Center. “They deserve timely, expert care close to home, and we’re honored to be part of a partnership that makes that possible.”

We thank our veterans for their service and sacrifice and believe they deserve the very best care without the burden of long travel. Through this collaboration with WVU Hospitals East and the Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute, high-level care will now be available right here in our community. 💙🪖
