Shout out and congratulations to Janee' Kassanavoid (Comanche Nation) who won the Silver medal in the women's Hammer Throw at the 2023 World Track and Field Championships in Budapest today. This is her 2nd medal in the world championships after winning bronze last year!

🌎 While environmental and climate advancements have occurred in the past three years, it’s hard to celebrate and trust some of the “wins” because of the dangerous and unnecessary fossil fuel projects approved by the Biden Administration that disproportionately impact Indigenous Peoples, communities, and Mother Earth. 🪶🛖🫂🌎

👀 Looking at the Willow Project and Mountain Valley Pipeline specifically. 👀

Indigenous and Frontline communities CAN NOT afford ONE MORE fossil fuel project being approved. 🖐🏽🚫⛽️🙅🏽‍♀️🙅🏾

Climate disasters are destroying our communities in real time. These impacts will only worsen if the So-Called United States continues to support and approve fossil fuel leases and projects. 🙄

It's time for to commit to our communities to end fossil fuels. 🚫⛽️ It's our collective responsibility to ensure they are being held accountable for those commitments.

Come celebrate the end-of-the-summer with us during our 4th Annual Back-To-School event. This free family friendly event is jam-packed with activities, food, drinks, and a chance to win door prizes. 🎉
