Job Description
Learn and work with top professionals in the turf & tree care industry. Operate a spray truck and sprayer on a route for turf maintenance, fertilization, and pest control along with tree maintenance for insects, diseases, and fertilization.

Duties:
-Provide lawn care and pest control treatments (w**d control, fungicides, insect control) to Warne Chemical & Equipment Company Inc customers, while adhering to company guidelines and procedures.
-Route Management - Service Warne Chemical customer accounts according to procedures, checklists and guidelines established by the company and input service data onto tablet/smartphone.
-Customer Service - Establish and maintain excellent customer relationships by nurturing each one.
-New Sales - Consistently offer and provide new services for customers on your route. You are expected to perform routine inspections in addition to the service that you provide to recommend possible solutions beyond current services.
-Training - Constantly upgrade skills and stay ahead of industry trends, to include treatment methods, new treatments and service technology.
-Winter duties: Assembly of spray equipment, building maintenance, and other assigned duties. Opportunity for advancement.
*Experience in a related field is preferred, but not required. Training will be provided.

Requirements:
-Must have a valid drivers license
-Ability to pass a background check
-Must have reliable transportation to work
-Must be able to drive a small cab over (non CDL)
-Ability to accurately input data into a tablet or smartphone for services performed.
-Accurately & safely complete applications of fertilizer, w**d control
-Adhere to Warne Chemical standards
-Must be able to obtain a South Dakota Pesticide Application license
-Maintain a professional and neat appearance, have excellent customer service skills, work independently or as part of a team,
-Meet daily, weekly, monthly production standards set for you
-Deliver exceptional customer service to every Warne Chemical customer and consistently exceed the expectations of the customer

FOOTHILLS MIX
An all grass blend for revegetation in areas where a native grass blend is desirable, establishes quickly.
Rate: 20–25 # per acre broadcast; 15-20 # per acre drilled. A good blend to use with wildflowers!

PREMIUM FARMLAWN
A blend for low maintenance, large lawn areas; excellent for grass cover on barrow ditches, hill sides, and other areas of reclamation. Establishes rapidly. Rate: 3-5 # per 1000 square feet broadcast; 2-3 # per 1000 square feet drilled.

Western Low Grow
Mix of native grasses that are all very short, minimum to no moisture after establishment. Has annual rye for cover crop the first year. Minimal or no mowing; reduces fuel production for fire control. Rate: Broadcast 35-40 lbs per acre; drilled rate 15-20 lbs per acre

A mix of grasses and clover. This blend is great for disturbed areas in the Black Hills and reseeding after burning slash piles. Rate: 20-28 # per acre broadcast; 8-12 # per acre drilled.

DRYLAND PASTURE MIX
A mixture of hardy, cool season grasses that is drought tolerant and adapts well to the Black Hills area. It provides a good, palatable spring forage and fair regrowth in the fall. This mix may produce a hay crop depending upon available moisture. Ideal for areas not receiving regular irrigation.
