Mental health challenges can affect anyone—young or old. Recognizing the signs early can make a world of difference. Here are 10 signs to watch for in conditions such as PTSD, dementia, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, and anxiety:

1️⃣ Withdrawal from family, friends, or activities
2️⃣ Noticeable changes in sleep—too much or too little
3️⃣ Loss of interest in hobbies or things once enjoyed
4️⃣ Sudden mood swings or irritability
5️⃣ Difficulty concentrating, remembering, or making decisions
6️⃣ Extreme worry, fear, or guilt
7️⃣ Talking about hopelessness, worthlessness, or self-harm
