October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The pink ribbon became a symbol for breast cancer in 1992 for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month in the US. It represents fear of breast cancer, yet hope for the future.

Last week was World Breastfeeding Week and this month is National Breastfeeding Month! Creekside Medical Clinic is raising awareness this month! Here is some beneficial information brought to you by Dr. Ann Hibbs.

Dr. Hibbs practices breastfeeding medicine. She completed additional training through the Institute for the Advancement of Breastfeeding and Lactation Education.
