Thank you for visiting my page!
My name is Cassandra Leow and I’m a provisionally licensed mental health practitioner (PLMHP). I’m a proud graduate of the Marriage and Family Therapy Program at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I was previously placed at the Couple and Family Clinic at UNL, Brodstone Memorial Hospital and Southeast Community College. I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals, couples and families with various mental health-related issues.
I am asked frequently about my job, ‘why do you want to listen to people’s problems all day?”. My answer to that is I do not listen to people’s problems all day, I listen to people’s courage in dealing with difficult everyday challenges all day; I am inspired by their strength and story! It takes so much courage to talk about challenges that are painful or frustrating and even more courage to talk to someone about it. I feel so incredibly blessed to be able to work with people in managing what they are going through.
