3. Favorite thing about working with dementia patients is each shift is a different adventure and being able to provide comfort to them when they are having moments of severe confusion.

Meet Sarah!! She’s always willing to help co-workers & the residents love talking to her. It’s been wonderful watching her career grow at St Cloud! We are so proud of you Sarah! 🫶🏼

I started working at St. Cloud on August 2016 as a cook/everything else. In 2020, I think, I became a CNA. It’s been 4 days since I got my certification as an LPN. So I have been working at St Cloud for 10 years. I think my favorite thing is the moments when you made a connection with your residents. The moment you know you have developed that repertoire, it gives me purpose. My hobbies outside of work are art, piano music, and at the moment dead languages. I love ancient civilizations.

1. 46 years of being a nurse.
2. At St. Cloud going on 16 years.
3. My favorite thing about working with dementia residents is being able to give back some of the joy they give me. To be able to comfort them especially at the end of their life journey.
4. I love to go fishing. Lately I've been trying pottery painting and painting different things at Canvas 2 Paint. I'm not very good at either paintings but it's sure fun!
