🎉 Celebrating 26 Amazing Years in Business! 🎉
We are incredibly proud to celebrate 26 years of dedication, growth, and exceptional service in the optometry and optical business. From our humble beginnings to where we are today, it’s been a journey filled with unforgettable milestones and incredible people who have helped us reach this point.
✨ A Few Milestones We’re Grateful For:
[1999]: Dr Paula opened our doors for the very first time and started serving the Rapid City area with her vision of how an optometry clinic should be. More time spent with patients and investment in the latest technologies and care. Dr Paula will be transitioning to part time in September.
(2012) Abi joined the team as an optician.
(2014) Lynnell joined the team as an optician
[2019]: Dr Greg joined the practice after 25 years at Shopko Optical.
Dr Greg will be transitioning to part time in September.
(2019) Sean followed Greg over from Shopko as an optician.
(2020) We welcomed Bobbie to the team, as our receptionist.
(2021) Anna joined our team as an optician.
(2022) Dr Steven Shaefer joined the practice after graduating from Illinois College of Optometry and a residency at Black Hills Regional Eye Institute.
(2025) Dr Sarah Petereit Houdek joined our practice after serving patients for 5 years in Rapid City. Dr Sarah graduated from Pacific University College of Optometry.
(2025) Tayler joined the team as an optician and technician.
(2025) Christina joined the team as a techician and optician.
