Are you into cold plunging? Cold showers? Putting ice on injuries? Cold, while it can help reduce the pain, slows the healing, and can actually cause more issues down the road.
My mentor Ann Cecil-Sterman has a fantastic blog about a patient she was treating that had severe joint pain, and it came down to the fact that he was doing a cold plunge twice a day.
