How does microneedling work?

Microneedling is a cosmeceutical procedure that uses tiny needles to make microscopic punctures in the skin. These punctures are called “micro channels” and they trigger a natural healing response stimulating the production of collagen and elastin. This diagram shows how the dermis is penetrated using a microneedling pen to prompt the body’s natural healing response that is needed to stimulate the production of collagen.
