Our Story
About the Owner:
Giving safe and effective treatment is a top priority at Pure Medical Aesthetics, LLC. Heidi Glood, FNP-C, APRN and practice owner, began her career in the medical field over 15 years ago when she worked at a school for children with disabilities. Since that time, she has worked in various areas of patient care (medical transcriptionist, certified nursing assistant, health unit clerk, registered nurse in the hospital setting, as well as, endoscopy and plastic surgery). Since graduating from the University of South Alabama, she has worked in oncology/hematology, urgent care, and aesthetics. In addition to her extensive clinical expertise, her academic career includes a BSN from South Dakota State University and MSN from the University of South Alabama. She is an AANP board certified family nurse practitioner
As mentioned, prior to becoming a board certified nurse practitioner and business owner, Heidi worked as a registered nurse for a busy plastic surgery center, performing cosmetic procedures and fine tuning her skills in aesthetic injectables. Although she has a passion for numerous aspects of patient care, her passion has always been in medical aesthetics. She has maintained a high standard of customer service by ensuring that our patients feel at ease, maintaining a warm bedside manner and demonstrating an extensive knowledge of aesthetic medicine.
About our Patient Coordinator and Skin Care Consultant:
Kasey Kurtz, our patient coordinator and skincare specialist has been an assistant in various medical fields in the past. She has a passion for skincare and helping others with their skincare needs and concerns.
