đź’™ We are deeply saddened by the passing of Mike Diedrich, a beloved colleague and community champion who retired from Monument Health in 2024.
Mike's legacy spans decades of service—from his roles as Vice President of Governmental Affairs at Monument Health to his work as a South Dakota State Senator. He was a true change maker who dedicated his life to improving health care, protecting vulnerable populations, and strengthening our community.
His humility, wisdom and unwavering commitment to Rapid City touched countless lives. Mike didn't just talk about making a difference—he lived it every day with charisma, tenacity, and heart.
Our thoughts are with his family, friends and all who were blessed to know this remarkable man. His impact on our community will be felt for generations to come.
