✨ Celebrating our APPs means celebrating excellence! Timothy Simonich, PA-C, at Rapid City Urgent Care, Jackson Boulevard proved that when he won our February 2025 Clinical Excellence Award. Here's what Timothy's nominator had to say:
“My family and I came to the Jackson Blvd Monument Urgent Care within minutes of closing. My almost two year old son had immediate discomfort on his arm shortly after arriving to a restaurant. He was walking and threw himself on the ground, a relatively normal action when he wants to direct where we are walking. We knew something was wrong so we headed straight to the closest urgent care. Upon our arrival Timothy came in and was extremely diligent in listening to exactly what had happened. During this time my son was pretty much inconsolable. Timothy remained very calm and patience with all three of us. He explained every step and thought process to his reasoning behind why our son was having discomfort. Rather than pushing any unnecessary scans or tests he continued to approach the situation in the best way for my son. He followed up with us the next morning and we ended up going back as we were still seeing signs of discomfort. Upon our arrival he was ready to see us immediately. We were greeted with such kindness and again Timothy provided SUPERB health care service. He worked with our son and fully resolved any discomfort my son was experiencing. Hands down one of the most memorable health service experiences. Timothy is an amazing PA and should definitely be recognized for his excellent patient care.”
