Avantara North started providing nursing home service since 1992, and was recognized by Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) as one of modern providers which are carefully measured and assessed to have high-quality nursing home services for promoting health and improving the quality of life.

We want to recognize our staff who worked so hard over the last year. Each of our staff members work very hard, but we had a few that stood out throughout the year. We had our staff vote for who they believed deserved the special recognition awards.

Colette L received the Most Dependable Award.
Charlie S received the Innovator Award.
Celina B received the Best Communication Award.
Chloe P received the Kindness Award.
Irene S received the Go the Extra Mile Award and Team Player Award.
Irene S also received our Employee of the Year Award.

We are blessed to have the very best working in our facility and taking care of our residents.

We celebrated Veterans Day! We would like to thank all those who have served and are serving for our country. Please meet our employees and our residents who all served our beautiful country! Thank you to all of the men and women in uniform! Our residents celebrated with a parade and cupcakes.

Employee of the month for November 2025 is Valissa F!
Valissa is dependable and committed to our residents. Her passion is working with the geriatric population. She does a great job working with the residents and assisting them in meeting their goals. She is very knowledgeable in her role as an OTR. Valissa is always happy, willing to help where she can and assisting others.

Congratulations to our October 2025 Employee of the Month Charlene A! Charlene truly cares about the residents and staff. She is always helpful in very many ways! She is willing to help with anything, even things outside of her normal HR duties. She is a good person to be around. She always goes above and beyond with the Avantara Booster Club to help make it a fun work environment for the staff. Thank you Charlene for everything that you do!

We are celebrating Environmental Services Week! We want to thank all of our hard working environmental staff! They work hard each day to keep the facility it top shape from cleanliness, to clean linens, to keeping everything functioning. We are blessed to have such wonderful environmental staff working with us!
