January always feels like hibernation season to me.
Winter isn’t when I want to sprint forward. It’s when I slow down, take stock, and gently ask myself what worked, what didn’t, and what I want to do differently this time around.
This year, that looks like decluttering our space, simplifying where we can, and taking a closer look at our financial decisions with more intention. Less noise. More clarity.
It also looks like meeting ourselves where we are. Getting to the gym right now feels like a drag, so we chose something that actually fits this season of life. We ordered a Peloton and I’m genuinely excited about it. Moving at home feels doable. Sustainable. Supportive instead of another thing to push through.
I’m not chasing a complete overhaul. I’m making small, thoughtful shifts that feel aligned with the life we’re actually living.
