Rathdrum Dental is a Family Dental Practice. We do exams, x-rays, cleanings, fillings, implants, dentures, crowns, veneers, and most other major procedures.

We also are specially trained in Mini Dental Implants! Welcome to Rathdrum Dental. We are so excited to be apart of this community. Our goal at Rathdrum Dental is to meet the needs of our community and do that in a safe, welcoming environment. Attention all Dental Hygienist‼️

We are in search of a Hygienist to cover Thursdays while Nikki is out on Maternity leave. Starting October 23rd until January 29th! This position could work into 3 days per week starting in January if interested!

Our Story

Welcome!

Dr. Jeffrey Oswell and his family are proud members of the Rathdrum and North Idaho community since 2015 when they moved to North Idaho. Jeff and his beautiful wife Brenda have been married 10 years and have 4 amazing children that keep them more than busy. When Dr. Oswell and his family moved into the area and the goal was to have a dental practice of their own. It wasn’t even a for sure thing when they moved here! Lots of things had to happen and fall into place. However, they know they are very lucky and blessed because that dream came into reality shortly after moving here and the practice is growing every day!

It has been a lot of sweat equity and sacrifice to start a new practice but this was always Dr. Oswell’s dream. Working in a smaller, local practice allows him to meet the needs of our community and do that in a comfortable and welcoming environment. Dr. Oswell is thoroughly involved with his practice and patients, and he and his staff take the time to get to know you and also your oral health needs.

The Oswells are active in the local community of Rathdrum where they do gymnastics, dance, soccer, golf, mountain biking, school, and sponsor local school events, city events, and fundraisers. Dr. Oswell even helps with our local city government as a Park and Rec Commissioner!
